Inkwell

Planning our offer

Loran and I met to plan when we could deliver workshops at Inkwell, and what we could deliver. Luckily we were both on the same page – we both wanted to do as many as we could in June, and then settle into a monthly pattern of Saturday workshops.

Since our initial meeting with Amanda on 14 March we have been collecting together lots of ideas on a shared Pinterest board.

We went through the board and picked out our favourite, and balanced them against the cost of producing them and their accessibility in regards to ages, abilities, and gender, along with the facilities at Inkwell and our contact, Amanda’s thoughts (she really wanted to make better use of the textiles room).

We then thought about when we could do each thing based on our timetable and what we needed to put into place to have the skills needed to deliver them.

Loran and I put together a timetable that we could use for the rest of the year and put it on Google Drive so that we could both edit it and share up to date information with Inkwell (they were given a link).

I fell like we are really organised for the next month and we know what we are doing and so does the client. We will meet in the week before the workshop to make a lesson plan and gather together all the materials.
